Iberdrola adopts Harvey AI for its legal and tax services
Iberdrola has reached an agreement to incorporate and integrate the services of Harvey, the artificial intelligence platform for legal professionals, across all legal and tax services of the Iberdrola Group. Harvey will be integrated as a key component of a broader transformation plan structured around five strategic pillars: transforming processes, capturing value, anticipating risks, training people in the responsible use of AI, with a particular focus on people and their skills development, and driving effective adoption and continuous improvement, under the leadership of the General Secretariat.
Iberdrola highlights that the incorporation of Harvey will “enable a new transformation of its legal and tax services, strengthening its leadership and capacity for innovation in the sector while responding to current needs. This represents a further step in the transformation process it is undertaking to incorporate AI tools into its processes, helping to optimise resources and improve service delivery. All of this will be carried out while ensuring the responsible, ethical and secure use of this technology at all times, placing people at the centre, promoting effective adoption, protecting the company’s information and data in accordance with the highest security standards, and consolidating a culture of innovation and continuous improvement”, says Iberdrola.

Before formalising the definitive agreement, Iberdrola and Harvey coordinated supervised pilot projects. By incorporating Harvey, Iberdrola reaffirms its commitment to technological innovation in legal management, optimises key processes and positions itself at the forefront of the digital transformation of legal and tax functions in the energy sector.
