Hogan Lovells with Idealista for the acquisition of the insurance distribution business
Hogan Lovells Insurance and Reinsurance team is advising Idealista on the acquisition of the insurance distribution business for the real estate sector from the brokerage Instituto de Desarrollo Asegurador.
The platforms owned by Instituto de Desarrollo Asegurador acquired by Idealista are: protegetualquiler.com, protegetuinmobiliaria.com and lawebdelarrendador.com.
The operation includes the transfer of the development team and the three platforms specialised in property insurance. With this incorporation, Idealista strengthens its scope of action with the acquisition of insurance-oriented platforms and reinforces its commitment to launching new InsurTech products on the market.
