Hogan Lovells hires Jesús Sánchez as Labor counsel

Hogan Lovells strengthens its Labor and Employment team, led by Luis Enrique de la Villa, with the incorporation of Jesús Sánchez as counsel in the Madrid office. Until now, Sánchez held the position of senior associate in the same practice at DLA Piper.

A graduate in Law from the University of Salamanca in 2008, and Master in labor law practice from Centro de Estudios Garrigues in 2013, Sánchez has extensive experience in the areas of labor law and social security.

The new counsel has participated in labor and social security audits in various sectors and has coordinated international audits. He also drafts and coordinates incentive plans, collective dismissals and ERTEs, and provides advice on immigration and labor law, among other tasks.

In addition to DLA Piper, Jesús was preparing for the labor inspector exams, and in 2013 he received the Walters Kluwer award for the “Application of new technologies in the field of law”.
