Hogan Lovells advises ENSO on the creation of largest cogeneration plant in Spain
Hogan Lovells has advised ENSO on the creation of cogeneration of the largest biomass plant in the country for 70 million.
The Regulatory and Corporate – Private Equity teams, led respectively by Fernando Calancha and Graciela Llaneza (partners), have advised the renewable energy group ENSO on its ACOR agreement, one of the largest agri-food producers in Spain for the construction largest energy cogeneration plant with biomass in the country.
The project, with an investment of close to 70 million euros, will have the collaboration of the Junta de Castilla y León. The facility will annually generate more than 346,000 tons of steam and more than 45,000 MWhe (megawatt hour of electricity) that will cover most of ACOR’s thermal and electrical needs.
