Hogan Lovells advises Barings on the acquisition of two student residences in Madrid

Hogan Lovells has advised Barings Capital, a global asset management company, on the legal aspects of the acquisition of two student residences from ColivINN, a co-living operator, through a sale and lease-back transaction valued at €40 million.

The assets, located in strategic locations in Madrid, have a total capacity of 197 places and will continue to be operated by ColivINN.

The Real Estate team was led by Orson Alcocer (partner), Andrés Candela (counsel) and associates Carlos Sánchez Viñuela and Pelayo San Martín.
