Herbert Smith Freehills acts for Healthcare Activos on Altamar venture

Herbert Smith Freehills advised Healthcare Activos on the sale of the company by Oaktree to Altamar and the negotiation on a new agreement with Altamar for a real estate investment trust focused on assets in the healthcare sector.

The new venture will be called Healthcare Activos Yield.

The Herbert Smith Freehills team was led by partner Nicolás Martín (pictured) and senior associate Marcos Fernández-Rico.

Oaktree was advised by Garrigues and Deloitte, while Altamar was advised by Freshfields and KPMG.
