Hampton Headhunting launches in Spain
Hampton Headhunting has officially launched in Spain as a new firm dedicated to legal headhunting and strategic transactions, aiming to support law firms in sourcing talent and pursuing growth through mergers and acquisitions.
The firm presents itself as the first Spanish company to combine two core services for law firms: the recruitment of legal and support professionals at all levels, and advisory on mergers, acquisitions, and integrations.
At the helm of the project is Antonio Serrano, managing partner, whose previous experience includes senior roles at national firms such as Ceca Magán and DJV Abogados, as well as an international in-house position at Barclays Bank. This background, according to the firm, gives him direct knowledge of the needs of both law firms and corporate legal departments.
Serrano explains that Hampton’s goal is to offer a practical and realistic approach to identifying talent and managing integration processes or portfolio acquisitions. The firm highlights its competitive edge in having over 20 years of sector-specific experience, allowing for a deep understanding of law firm dynamics in Spain.
In addition to recruiting lawyers and technical staff, Hampton specialises in M&A for the legal market, responding to increasing demand following the entry of investment funds. Serrano emphasises the importance of recognising not just the financial value of firms involved in transactions, but also their leadership, teams, and culture.
