Hampton Headhunting launches for Spain’s legal sector
Spain’s legal sector now has a new player dedicated to connecting talent, driving strategic transactions, and supporting law firms in their growth plans. Hampton Headhunting is a firm born with the goal of “providing high-value services in headhunting and M&A for the legal sector.” With the claim #PartnersDeTuCrecimiento (#PartnersInYourGrowth), Hampton presents itself as the first Spanish firm focused on two key areas for law firms: sourcing legal and support talent at all levels, and advising on mergers, acquisitions, and law firm integrations.
At the helm of the firm is Antonio Serrano, managing partner, who has a solid career in the legal sector. His experience includes senior roles at national firms such as Ceca Magán and DJV Abogados, as well as in-house experience with an international focus at Barclays Bank. This background has given him deep insight into the real needs of both law firms and in-house legal teams.
“Our experience in leadership positions within law firms allows us to offer a practical and realistic perspective, both when identifying talent and when supporting integration processes or portfolio acquisitions, whether of law firms or legal departments,” says Serrano.
“Hampton’s main competitive advantage lies in its over two decades of experience in the legal sector, which allows its team to understand firsthand the dynamics, needs, and challenges of law firms in Spain”, states the organisation. Its offering ranges from selecting lawyers with expertise in specific areas of law to professionals for leading or strengthening in-house departments, as well as support profiles and essential technical roles in the daily operations of law firms.
The other pillar of Hampton is its specialization in M&A, mergers, and law firm integrations. “No longer are only three or four prominent firms pursuing inorganic growth. The growing demand—especially following the entry of investment funds—and the limited supply make finding the right fit increasingly complex. This creates the need for professional and specialized guidance”, states Hampton.
“A law firm is more than a revenue figure: behind it lies leadership, a team, a track record, and a culture that must be carefully identified and valued. Our role is to ensure that transactions not only add value but multiply it for all parties involved,” explains Serrano.
