Gustavo Calzado new Litigation Partner at Martínez-Echevarría
Martínez-Echevarría Abogados has reinforced its Litigation and Arbitration department with the addition of Gustavo Calzado Molero as partner. His arrival follows the recent appointments of Pablo Doñate and Carlos Gutiérrez, who now lead the practice.
With more than 20 years of professional experience, Calzado, who joins from RCD, is highly specialized in representing both domestic and international clients in court proceedings and arbitration, at both the national and international levels. Over the course of his career, he has successfully advised on a wide range of disputes, including corporate litigation, takeover challenges, M&A-related disputes, directors’ liability, shareholder conflicts, intellectual property and unfair competition, public administration disputes, and business-related criminal proceedings.
Calzado’s expertise extends across several strategic industries, including manufacturing, construction, telecommunications, cybersecurity, defense and security, as well as advising leading financial institutions and insurance companies.
In addition to his professional practice, Gustavo Calzado regularly collaborates with academic institutions such as the Centro Universitario Villanueva, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, and the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM), where he lectures on litigation and arbitration-related topics.
