Greencoat Renewables acquires Andella wind farm from Ke-Reninvestment: Advisors

Greencoat Renewables, through its subsidiary GRW1 AH Limited, has acquired the 50 MW “Andella” wind farm located in Adalia (Valladolid) from Ke-Reninvestment. The deal also involved the arrangement of a bridge loan with Commerzbank, which was cancelled at the closing of the transaction upon the transfer of the SPV owning the project.

The transaction, which included both the sale and financing of the asset, presented a significant multijurisdictional element, as the buyer is based in Ireland and the financial institution in Germany. The wind farm “Andella” is part of Greencoat’s continued commitment to renewable energy investments across Europe.
