Grant Thornton strengthens its legal area with the incorporation of three new partners

The professional services firm, Grant Thornton, boosts its capabilities in the Legal area, with the arrival of three new Partners. They are Juan José Ríos, Roberto Benito and Eduardo González, who will form the core of this area in the Madrid office.

The three new Partners join from the Acebo & Rubio law firm with other seven professionals. The powerful team will take advantage of the synergies between the different legal practices that Grant Thornton offers to strengthen the existing client portfolio and will continue opening markets, expanding business and generating new opportunities.

Juan José Ríos will be in charge of the Industrial, Intellectual and Media Property area, and will be in charge of the procedural team dedicated to judicial and administrative procedures, out-of-court negotiations and the fight against piracy of audiovisual content. He has a Law Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid.

For his part, Roberto Benito will focus on the field of M&A, restructuring and venture capital, with a special focus on family offices and institutional investors. He is Secretary of the Board of Directors of several venture capital management companies and their investee companies. He has a degree in Law and Business Administration, specializing in Account Auditing, from the Complutense University and a doctorate in Commercial Law from the same university.

Finally, Eduardo González will lead the litigation and real estate practices, thanks to his extensive experience in defending civil and contentious-administrative proceedings related to construction and shopping centers and retail parks, as well as providing legal advice to some of the main companies in both sectors, essentially in terms of leases, horizontal property and contracts. He also graduated in Law from the Complutense University and completed a Master’s Degree in Corporate Legal Advice at the IE Law School.
