Felipe Gómez, who until now was responsible for life consulting business development in Southern Europe at Willis Towers Watson, has advised a wide range of insurers in Spain and Portugal as well as companies in London, France, Belgium, Sweden, Latin America, Turkey and Italy. All the professionals that accompany him have also worked with him previously in the same firm.
Grant Thornton seeks to strengthen its advisory services to clients with a clear international operation, also in the insurance sector. For this reason, Felipe will make Grant Thornton’s capabilities and experience available to the sector, especially to multinationals with interests in the main insurance markets such as the United States and the United Kingdom. An international strategic focus that will also look to Latin America, where the Firm is already actively collaborating with countries such as Colombia, Chile, Peru and Puerto Rico.
“It is a privilege to be able to continue to set the pace in consulting in this sector in one of the leading firms such as Grant Thornton, which is clearly committed to the financial and insurance sector. We are going to work combining the leadership position of my team, the multidisciplinary and innovative vision of Grant Thornton Consulting and all its international power”, emphasizes the newly incorporated partner Felipe Gómez.
Ramón Galcerán, Chairman of Grant Thornton
“For some time we have wanted to be stronger in the insurance sector and we wanted to do it with the best. Felipe comes with a portfolio of services very similar to the financial consulting that we were already developing in the Firm, but adds all the innovation, analysis and specialization that the sector needs and the necessary networking in the sector for all our lines of business”.
