Gonçalo Castro Ribeiro returns to DLA Piper Portugal as partner

Gonçalo Castro Ribeiro has rejoined DLA Piper Portugal as a partner after spending 18 months as the head of M&A and Finance & Projects at Broseta. Previously, he served at DLA Piper as a senior associate for three years and later as a partner from 2017 to 2023. Ribeiro will now be part of the Corporate & Finance department, the same team where he worked before.

The new partner brings over 20 years of experience in cross-border transactions, regulatory matters involving financial institutions, as well as project finance and capital markets operations. His work primarily involves advising financial institutions and private equity firms. Ribeiro holds a law degree from the Portuguese Catholic University and is a regular contributor to specialized publications, as well as a frequent participant in industry events and initiatives.
