Gold Abogados has hired Ignacio Chacon Echevarria (pictured) as of counsel, to strengthen its Finance & Projects practices. The lawyer has professional experience of over 18 years in the Finance & Projects department of the international law firm DLA Piper and the legal team of ACCIONA, one of the mayors developers and concessionaires of infrastructure and energy projects globally.

Chacon Echevarria has broad experience in structured finance (Project Finance, Real Estate Finance, Corporate Finance, Leveraged Finance), debt restructuring and sale and purchase and exit transactions over non-performing loans, and he is also specialised in the development of Infrastructure, Energy and Real Estate projects including investment agreements, joint ventures, projects agreements (EPC, O&M, Concession, Supply) and contract management, both in Spain and the rest of Europe, Latin America and Australia.
