Germán Rodrigo, new managing partner in the Valencian Community of Grant Thornton

Grant Thornton appoints Germán Rodrigo as new head of the Valencia and Castellón offices, succeeding Andrés Gurrea, Audit partner. Partner of the Tax & Legal line, Rodrigo will lead the coordination of the activity in this key region for the firm.

With almost twenty years of experience at Grant Thornton, Germán Rodrigo has promoted the tax and legal advisory area since his arrival in 1997. Throughout his career he has accompanied national and international companies in sectors such as real estate, automotive, tourism, ceramics, agriculture, industry and start-ups.

“We will continue working to transfer to the Valencian market the value proposition that working with Grant Thornton represents and that many companies already know. Our commitment is to continue to be present in the most important business centers in the region, as we have been up to now”, says Germán Rodrigo.

Before joining Grant Thornton, Germán developed his career in top level firms such as EY and Deloitte. His expertise includes national and international taxation, as well as transfer pricing, areas in which he has led projects in markets such as Morocco, China, Brazil, India and Mexico. He also currently participates in the TAX-ESG working groups of Grant Thornton International, providing a vision aligned with the new requirements of sustainability and transparency.

Training initiatives

In addition to his professional activity, Germán Rodrigo has been a promoter of training and talent initiatives within the firm, participating in the mentoring of young lawyers and advising new generations of professionals in the development of their careers in the tax and legal fields.

Also recognized outside the corporate environment, Rodrigo has been a lecturer at several universities and business schools and has received numerous distinctions.
