Garrigues signs agreement with Spanish start-ups association

Garrigues has signed an agreement with the Spanish start-ups organisation, Asociación Española de Startups (AES), to offer legal services for its members under special terms tailored for the needs of small companies.

In addition, Garrigues will jointly promote projects and initiatives that help to further develop the Spanish startup ecosystem, while Centro de Estudios Garrigues will also facilitate access to education programs for AES members. Garrigues is also offering a ‘Startups & Open Innovation’ service line.

AES was created in late 2015 to promote entrepreneurship and grow the Spanish “technological innovation ecosystem,” while advocating for the “regulatory and legal changes needed for Spain to truly become a start-up nation”.

Carolina Pina (pictured), partner at Garrigues, said: “We have designed a specific collaboration framework with AES to allow startups to quickly and efficiently resolve their legal questions, which are so vital for their success. Innovation is and has always been one of Garrigues’ hallmarks”.
