Garrigues new tenant of the Colon Towers

Garrigues, the renowned international legal and tax services firm with Fernando Vives as executive chairman and managing partner, has inked a significant deal to become the exclusive tenant of the recently renovated Colon Towers. The entire building, situated in the heart of Madrid and owned by Mutua Madrileña, will serve as Garrigues’ new headquarters.

The lease encompasses both towers, boasting a total of 20,298 square meters spread across 30 floors, along with a convenient parking facility featuring 123 parking spaces. This move marks a strategic relocation for the law firm, consolidating its more than 700 employees who were previously divided between the head office at Hermosilla 3 and another building at Castellana 10 – both situated on the same block in the Salamanca district.

Garrigues is set to benefit from the centralized workspace, fostering collaboration and efficiency among its team. The lease agreement, signed for a duration of 12 years, aligns with its commitment to providing a cohesive and dynamic environment for its professionals.

The move into the Colon Towers will take place upon the completion of the ongoing refurbishment and renovation work, nearing its final stages. Mutua Madrileña, the property owner, received advisory support from the real estate consultancy firm CBRE throughout the transaction, ensuring a seamless and successful conclusion.
