Garrigues and Olleros Abogados advise on IVI-RMANJ merger

Garrigues advised the Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad (IVI) on its merger with US-based Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey (RMANJ), which instructed Olleros Abogados on the deal.

RMANJ was also advised by McDermott Will & Emery on the link- up – according to Mergermarket – which creates a company with around €300m in revenues.

Under the terms of the deal, IVI shareholders will retain a majority stake (approximately 70 per cent) in the newly formed company, which is known as IVI-RMA Global.

With ten clinics currently in the US, the initial objective of IVI-RMA Global is to continue its expansion in the United States, a statement said.
