Garrigues and Cooley advise Feedzai on DemystData acquisition
Garrigues and Cooley LLP have advised Feedzai, a Portuguese company and a global player in the financial crime prevention market, on the acquisition of Australian DemystData. A company focused on data orchestration and integration, DemystData is now part of Feedzai’s strategic plan to unify data orchestration and risk management on a single platform. “This will provide financial institutions with real-time access to the trusted data, analytics, and artificial intelligence they need to make the best possible risk decisions”, states Garrigues.
The cross-border acquisition was advised, on Garrigues’ side, by a team led by partner Mário Lino Dias and including senior associates José de Seabra Marcão and Inês Freire de Andrade. On Cooley’s side, advisors were led by Rita Sobral.
