Garrigues advises Quirónsalud on Peruvian hospital acquisition

Garrigues acted for Quirónsalud on its acquisition of a 50 per cent stake in Peruvian private hospital Clínica Ricardo Palma.

The deal was finalised following three years of negotiations, and represents Quirónsalud’s first operation in Latin America.

A Quirónsalud statement said there was a growing demand for efficient, high quality health services in the country and that there was expected be “high rates of growth in the sector in the medium and short term”.

Clínica Ricardo Palma instructed Payet, Rey, Cauvi, Pérez Abogados on the deal, according to Mergermarket.
