Garrigues advises on a €1bn acquisition of renewable energy assets
The spanish law firm, Garrigues, has advised Verbund AG on the acquisition of 75MW portfolio of renewable energy assets in Spain from Q-Energy Asset Management SL, the Spain based asset management company.
Verbund AG is an Austria-based company engaged in production and distribution of electric energy, responsible for generating around 100% of electricity from hydroelectric power, supplemented by wind and thermal power.
According to Reuters, the value for this deal was approximately €1bn.
The team from Garrigues advising Verbund AG was formed by the Partner, Álvaro Valle (pictured left) and the senior associate, Luis Enrique Mata (pictured right).
