Garrigues acts for Iberfrasa on its majority stake sale to Abac

Garrigues has advised Spain´s Iberfrasa on the sale of a majority stake to Abac Solutions fund

Abac Solutions has purchased a majority stake in Iberfrasa, a Toledo-headquartered family business founded in 1984, with more than 300 employees, dedicated to the manufacture of household and personal care products & cosmetics.

Abac Solutions’ investment aims to provide Iberfrasa with the necessary resources at a strategic, operational and financial level that will allow it to develop its strategic plan and give continuity to its activity.

Abac Solutions will thus continue to be a shareholder with a significant stake and will lead, together with the current management team, the company in its new phase.

Abac was advised by PwC, Attalea Partners and Herbert Smith Freehills, while Iberfrasa was assisted by KPMG and Garrigues.

Garrigues acted as legal counsel to the seller, with a team comprising Commercial partner Ildefonso Polo (pictured left), Commercial senior associate Beatriz Gimeno, Commercial associate Alejandra Abal, Tax partner Javier de Rojas (pictured right), Tax principal associate Daniel Muñoz and Tax associate Javier Álvarez.
