The law firm Gaona, Palacios y Rozados Abogados S.L.P., part of RocaJunyent_Group, recently held its General Meeting at their Málaga headquarters, Villa Onieva, where they approved several significant and innovative changes.

Firstly, the firm announced a rebranding, changing its name to GAONA, Abogacía y Consultoría, Sociedad Limitada Profesional. This simplified brand emphasizes the firm’s association with RocaJunyent_Group and returns to its original concept of a partnership-based rather than a personalized firm.

Additionally, the meeting unanimously approved the relocation of the firm’s headquarters to a newly leased building. This move will consolidate their three current locations in Seville into a single, iconic regionalist-style building at 13 Santo Tomás Street. The relocation is scheduled for September and aims to enhance the firm’s presence and service capacity in Seville, aligning with their 2023-2025 Strategic Plan focused on regional growth in Andalusia.

Specialization and Reorganization

During the session, partners were briefed on the reorganization of the firm’s various practice areas. This restructuring aims to unify teams across Seville and Málaga, eliminate redundancies, and improve client service. The new structure will feature specialized areas including Corporate and Finance, Tax and Accounting, Labor and Employment, Corporate Restructuring, Civil, Criminal, and Arbitration, and Administrative Law, among others. This approach is designed to adapt to the firm’s geographic expansion as outlined in their strategic plan.

The General Meeting also highlighted the firm’s commitment to sustainability, focusing on reducing their carbon footprint, implementing a paperless policy, minimizing plastic use, and encouraging the use of public transportation. These efforts are part of their 2023 Sustainability Report and their dedication to the Sustainable Development Goals.
