Gabriel Cabello joins Clifford Chance as partner
Global law firm Clifford Chance has appointed Gabriel Cabello as a new partner in its Spanish real estate practice, led by Carlos Portocarrero de las Heras in Spain and François Bonteil globally.
Cabello joins from Linklaters, where he also served as partner, bringing with him over two decades of experience advising a wide range of clients on strategic real estate transactions.
Throughout his career, he has led numerous operations involving the acquisition and divestment of real estate assets, sale and lease-back structures, leasing, construction contracts, and advisory to investment funds. His expertise also spans distressed debt, asset management agreements for repossessed properties, and complex investment structures.
Cabello holds degrees in Law and Political Science from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He also earned a Master’s in Urban Planning Law from the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares and a Master’s in Advanced Legal Studies from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
