GA_P advises the partners of The Hotels Network in their sale to Lighthouse

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised the partners of The Hotels Network in the process of the sale of 100% of its share capital to the Lighthouse Group.

The Hotels Network has developed innovative technology that allows hotels to significantly increase their direct bookings through personalized marketing and advanced conversion optimization techniques. Founded in 2015, the company serves more than 20,000 hotels in over 100 countries. Its technology has proven to generate an average 32% increase in direct bookings for its clients.

For its part, Lighthouse, considered one of the leading commercial platforms for the travel and hospitality industry, strengthens its ecosystem through a strategic investment in solutions that address the business needs of leading hotels globally.

The GA_P team has been formed by Alex Pujol, Andrés Castro and Carmelo Gómez from Mercantil, as well as Luis Cuesta and Pablo Soler from tax in collaboration with Seth Entin and James Maynor from Greenberg Traurig who have advised on the US tax related matters of the transaction.
