GA_P advises on the structuring of a PV self-consumption project for Castellana Properties’ shopping centers
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has assisted Castellana Properties in its joint venture with Sunbird to develop the ‘Castellana Green’ project, which aims to deploy up to 40MW of photovoltaic self-consumption installations on the roofs and parking lot canopies of all its commercial assets.
It is estimated that the commissioning of the installations of the first phase of the project, which will reach 2 MW, will enable the production of up to 3,258 MWh of local green energy, which would avoid the emission of 527,855 kg of CO2, equivalent to the planting of 1,760 trees.
The advisory has covered the creation of the joint venture, shareholder agreements and project contracts.
