GA_P advises on the sale of Fenwick Iribarren Architects (FIA) to Grupo Egis
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised on the sale of Fenwick Iribarren Architects (FIA), an architectural firm specialized in design, refurbishment, consultancy and sports and events architecture, to the French Egis Group, a world leader in engineering, architecture, consultancy, operations and maintenance.
The transaction will strengthen the Egis Group, broadening its business portfolio and reinforcing its presence in Europe. In turn, for FIA, it represents an opportunity to develop the potential of its teams together with Egis’ technical capabilities, especially in the world of sport and with a sustainable approach.
The GA_P team has been formed by David Riopérez, Luis Pinedo and Víctor Villaverde, partner and associates of corporate, Mariana Díaz-Moro and Carla Fandiño, partner and associate of tax, respectively, Lourdes Escassi, counsel of labor, and Mercedes Corbal and Cristina Bonfanti, associates of intellectual property.
