GA_P advises on land readjustment project in Madrid
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised on the drafting and processing of the Land Readjustment Project for Sector SR-1 of Brunete, a municipality in the third ring around Madrid, approved by the Brunete Town Council. The planned development in Brunete provides for over 17,500 homes, 42% of which will be affordable housing, and will increase the municipality’s current population (c. 11,000) six-fold.
The planning framework for Brunete establishes 11 sectors, eight of them residential, which encircle the municipality to the west. “With this project, Brunete consolidates its position as a strategic hub to meet the growing demand for housing in the Community of Madrid”, states the law firm.
The GA_P team involved in the matter comprised Ander de Blas, counsel, and Paula García Cuevas, associate, both from the public & regulated sectors practice in Madrid (pictured).
