GA_P advises Finlight Renewable Energy on Acquisition from EiDF Solar
Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised Finlight Renewable Energy (a subsidiary of Grupo Powen) on the acquisition of up to 89.79 MW across 186 solar self-consumption installations from EiDF Solar, a company listed on BME Growth specializing in industrial solar self-consumption plants.
The agreement’s initial phase involves the acquisition of 72 industrial self-consumption plants, with a total capacity of 57.19 MW. Of these, 31 are already constructed and operational, 14 are under construction, and 27 are in development. In a subsequent phase, Finlight has the option to acquire an additional 114 plants, totaling 32.60 MW, contingent upon the signing of corresponding PPA contracts.
The legal team at GA_P, working alongside Finlight’s in-house legal team led by Blanca Arnus de Soto and Jimena Jorro Gómez-Múgica, was headed by Diego Martínez Colino (pictured), senior associate in the Commercial Law department. Supporting him were team members Fernando Aldavero Dávila, Paula Chapela Barroso, Guillermo Menéndez Herrero, and Carla Fandiño Seijas from the Tax department.
