GA_P advises on €40m sale of Grupo Masao to Hana Group

Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised the partners of Grupo Masao on their €40 million sale to the Hana Group

pjimage 2022 02 14T090831.077Gómez-Acebo & Pombo has advised the partners of Grupo Masao and its founder Galo García-Miñaur Ybarra, on an operation that completes the sale of 100% of the company to Hana Group (invested in Permira). The total amount of the transaction has been valued at €40 million.

Grupo Masao is the leading sushi operator in the retail sector in Spain with 130 points of sale and 400 employees, while Hana Group is the leading sushi operator in the retail sector worldwide with 1,350 points of sale in 12 countries and 5,500 employees.
