Fuster-Fabra promotes Miguel Chacón to Senior Associate

Fuster-Fabra Abogados has promoted Miguel Chacón Cartaya to Senior Associate in its Criminal Law Department, effective July 2024. This promotion marks a significant milestone in Chacón’s professional journey within the firm, reflecting his continuous growth and dedication to legal excellence.

With his new role, Chacón will take on increased responsibilities, including leading teams and managing both national and international criminal law cases. His promotion is a testament to his strong legal acumen and his ability to deliver outstanding results across complex cases.

Chacón began his career at a litigation firm in Seville before joining Fuster-Fabra Abogados’ Madrid office in October 2019. Since then, he has successfully handled criminal and civil cases, showcasing his technical expertise and unwavering commitment. His hard work earned him a promotion to Associate in the Procedural Law Department in July 2022, where he played a key role in expanding the firm’s criminal and civil law practices.

In addition to his work at the firm, Chacón serves as an assistant professor in the Master of Legal Practice program at ISDE and frequently contributes as a criminal law expert to various media outlets, sharing his insights on legal developments and current events.

Chacón graduated with a law degree from the University of Seville in 2012 and completed internships at Seville’s Commercial Courts. From 2012 to 2018, he prepared for the judicial and prosecutorial career exams. In 2019, he earned a dual master’s degree in Legal Practice and International Advocacy from ISDE in Madrid.

Further enhancing his expertise, Chacón holds a certification in Privacy and Data Security from Georgetown University (Washington D.C.) in collaboration with ISDE, and he has completed multiple specialized courses offered by the Madrid Bar Association.
