Fundación Mutualidad Launches Psychological Support Program
Fundación Mutualidad, the nonprofit arm of Grupo Mutualidad, has announced the launch of a new Psychological and Social Support Program in partnership with Fundación Salud y Persona. This program aims to provide comprehensive support to alternative mutualists and their families, emphasizing both emotional and psychological well-being.
The service will offer 24/7 access to psychologists and social workers in Spanish and Catalan, with additional language support in English and Portuguese during business hours. This support will be entirely free, with no limit on the number of calls or consultations, and ensures confidentiality and anonymity for all users.
Blanca Narváez, Managing Director of Fundación Mutualidad, stated, “This initiative addresses the psychological and emotional needs of our mutualists, who often face high-stress situations in their profession. We also extend this support to their families, ensuring they have expert guidance and the tools to manage challenges effectively.”
In addition to psychological support, the program offers social work services, helping mutualists with matters such as grants, child care, disability benefits, elder care, and resources for addiction prevention. Information on family planning, gender violence, adoption, and foster care will also be available.
The program aims to assist individuals in managing difficult life situations, from relationship breakups to complex issues like eldercare or bullying.
