Freshfields unveils refreshed brand
Freshfields Global has announced the renewal of its brand. Starting in October, the firm’s legal name will be shortened to Freshfields and will have a new word mark. A sustainable and gradual implementation of the new brand identity will take place globally over the coming months.
The firm’s managing partner in Spain, Álvaro Iza, commented exclusively to Iberian Lawyer: “We are delighted about the rebrand as it reflects how truly international our business is today in all offices including Madrid. I am proud that Spain is part of Freshfields’ success story and that we are now together opening another chapter in the firm’s future.”
From Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer to Freshfields
In a period of significant transformation across the legal sector and rapid growth of its business, Freshfields senior partner Georgia Dawson commented that the new refreshed brand “is dynamic and bold, reflecting the entrepreneurial spirit of Freshfields today and our drive as a firm. With our 280-year history, we continue to operate at the forefront of the law, setting new standards, giving our clients the edge in achieving their goals and attracting the best talent from around the world.”
She also added that they want their brand to “reflect who we are wherever people find us and bring our strategy to life as we continue our next chapter of growth. A reflection of that is our shortened name that embraces the reality of what people call us in the marketplace and how we refer to ourselves.”
