Freshfields advises on PTI’s $6.5bn financing
Freshfields has advised Phoenix Tower International (PTI), a provider of wireless communications infrastructure, on the Spanish law aspects of its $6.5 billion multi-jurisdiction financing, a transaction described as the largest financing of its kind completed by a privately held tower company.
The financing will support PTI’s capital structure and provide additional resources to fund future investments, acquisitions and the group’s broader growth strategy. The deal further strengthens PTI’s position in the global telecommunications infrastructure market, where demand for tower and connectivity assets continues to expand.
The team
The Freshfields team advising on the Spanish law matters of the transaction was led by partner Ana López, with support from associates Inés Colás Ybáñez and Raquel María Cuesta Gómez, all members of the firm’s Finance practice in Madrid.
