Freshfields promotes new of counsel

Freshfields has promoted global transactions lawyer Carla Gómez Crespo to of counsel, strengthening the corporate practice.

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has appointed global transactions lawyer Carla Gómez to of counsel in Spain. This is the second appointment to the spanish corporate practice in the last six months, following that of Miriam Pérez-Schafer (promoted to international partner in november 2022), demonstrating the firm’s commitment to strengthening the corporate practice.

During her more than 12-year career at Freshfields, Carla has accumulated extensive experience advising on complex transactions with an international element. She specialises in M&A transactions of listed and unlisted companies, private equity, and general corporate law, advising financial and strategic investors, private equity houses and multinational companies in a variety of sectors.

Carla holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE E-3).
