Freshfields advises Bending Spoons on Tractive

Freshfields has advised Bending Spoons on its acquisition of Tractive, marking the group’s first expansion into hardware-enabled software.

The company’s portfolio already includes major digital brands such as Evernote, Vimeo, WeTransfer, Eventbrite and Meetup.

The team

The multidisciplinary legal team assembled by Freshfields was led by Giancarlo D’Ambrosio (Milan), with key support from Frankfurt-based partner Lars Meyer and Vienna partner Konrad Gröller. The core team also included associate Julius Röck, principal associate Daniel Roggenkemper and associates Benedikt Mayer and Isabel García de Paredes.

The wider Corporate/M&A team featured partner Lukas Treichl, counsel Olaf Ehlers, principal associate Anna Dominke, associate William Björklund, principal associate Can-Michael Nural and associates Yoosong Lee, Estella Dannhausen and Linda Teichtmeister (both Vienna).
