Freshfields acts for Hotelbeds on GTA acquisition

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer advised Spanish company Hotelbeds Group on the acquisition of Gullivers Travel Associates (GTA) from the Kuoni Group.

 

Freshfields also advised private equity firm Cinven and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in relation to the acquisition.

Kuoni was advised by Swiss law firm Bär & Karrer on the deal, according to Mergermarket.

Hotelbeds is a provider of services to the global travel industry, and GTA is a global distributor providing travel companies with access to hotel accommodation.
