Franco Zibaia advises Startup Portugal on an international public tender

Franco Zibaia has advised Startup Portugal on an international public tender for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Portuguese Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Mapping Platform. The project received PRR funding of around one million euros.

The tender attracted a large number of participants, with 17 national and international competitors. Furthermore, according to Catarina Franco Madeira, founding partner of Franco Zibaia, this is a strategic project that is “innovative and undoubtedly of national interest, within the framework of Startup Portugal’s public interest mission to promote entrepreneurship and, in particular, national start-ups (and scale-ups). A project that aims to enable faster and easier interaction between the different players in the ecosystem and to obtain more complete, rigorous and comprehensive information”.

After complying with all the contractual formalities, the development and maintenance services for the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Mapping Platform began in the first quarter of this year.

The Franco Zibaia team involved in this project was coordinated by partners Catarina Franco Madeira and André Zibaia da Conceição, and covered aspects of Public Law, Technology, Communications and Data Protection.
