Francisco Núñez joins Camerfirma as Trust Service Compliance

Camerfirma, a renowed provider of trust services, welcomes Francisco Núñez as the new Trust Service Compliance. In this role, Núñez will be tasked with ensuring compliance with various regulations, including eIDAS, ISO 27001, and ENS. His responsibilities also extend to fostering collaboration with the internal audit team and developing communication channels with the supervisory body for the accreditation of PKI services.

A graduate in Computer Engineering from the University of Alcalá, Núñez brings valuable experience in dealing with different standards such as Common Criteria and eIDAS. His professional journey includes roles at DEKRA Testing & Certification, where he served as Project Manager, conducting security evaluations like Common Criteria and LINCE/CPSTIC. Núñez also led audits of IT infrastructure for PKI systems and played a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with eIDAS law and ETSI standards to certify trust services such as digital signatures, seals, time stamps, and video-ID.

In his new position, Núñez will tackle challenges such as maintaining accreditation for the National Security Scheme and overseeing the adoption of eIDAS 2.0 Regulation by Camerfirma within the InfoCert group’s environment. His expertise will play a crucial role in steering Camerfirma through the evolving regulatory landscape and ensuring the highest standards of security and compliance in their trust services.
