Francisco Marzá Tornel, new general counsel at La Menorquina

Farggi, the Catalan company known for owning La Menorquina ice cream, has appointed Francisco Marzá Tornel, formerly of Cuatrecasas, as the company’s new general counsel.

“This appointment represents a new step in the company’s commitment to continuing to grow with the best talent and management team. At La Menorquina, we are delighted that Francisco will now be leading the Legal Department and joining the management committee,” the company shared on its social media accounts.

Marzá Tornel comes from the firm Cuatrecasas, where he held the position of counsel. He has developed his career at the firm since 2011, in the London, Madrid and Barcelona offices.

The new general counsel has an outstanding track record in financing operations, debt restructuring and distressed situations, having advised investors, financial institutions and debtors in national and international processes.
