Former judge Mercedes López Balaguer joins Abdón Pedrajas Littler

Abdón Pedrajas Littler has hired Mercedes López Balaguer, professor of labor and social security law at the University of Valencia, who joins its Valencia office as a consultant. Mercedes López Balaguer has a research and teaching career, with numerous publications on key labor law topics. She also has experience in advisory and training work for trade unions, companies, and law firms, and has held institutional responsibilities in the academic sphere. Her experience as a substitute judge on the Social Chamber of the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community until September 2022 further highlights her expertise, states the law firm.

With this addition, Abdón Pedrajas Littler strengthens and consolidates a market-unique team of academic consultants, which also includes Jesús Lahera Forteza, professor of labor law at the Complutense University of Madrid, and Javier Thibault, associate professor of labor law at the same university, states the law firm.
