Former Abreu lawyer founds VRL Legal

Vanessa Rodrigues Lima has founded VRL Legal after nearly a decade of experience, where she has practiced law at Abreu Advogados, CCA and Caiado Guerreiro

Throughout her career, Vanessa Rodrigues Lima (pictured) has advised HNWI and Private Clients on residence transfer and the process of investing in Portugal. Vanessa has also assisted national and international companies, on immigration processes, particularly on the relocation of workers and related matters. Vanessa is the Co-Founder of PAIIR – Portuguese Association of Immigration, Investment and Relocation and certified by the Investment Migration Council. She holds a degree in Law from the University of Coimbra, a Master’s Degree in Business Law from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and an Advanced Course in Immigration and Portuguese Nationality Law from Nova University of Lisbon.

Vanessa Rodrigues Lima said: “A personal project through which I intend to provide highly specialised legal advice on Immigration and Foreign Investment in Portugal. It was a big step, a calculated risk, but I must say that I have never been so excited at a professional level. Several people and moments (good and not so good) throughout my career contributed to this decision that made me think, why not take a risk? Time went by, I settled in and some dreams were left behind. Well, that has changed! Now begins a new challenge that involves a lot of work and responsibility, but that certainly, with commitment, will be successful.”
