Fils appoints Irene Arranz as Litigation Counsel

Fils continues its growth trajectory with the addition of Irene Arranz, who joins the firm as counsel to reinforce its litigation and arbitration practice.

Arranz has spent her entire career at Cuatrecasas, where she was part of the litigation department for 15 years. During this time, she also completed a secondment as a visiting lawyer at Gide Loyrette Nouel in Paris.

A graduate in Law and Business Administration from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Arranz brings significant expertise in cross-border matters and arbitration. She has represented clients before leading international and domestic arbitration institutions, both as counsel and as arbitrator.

Beyond arbitration, her practice spans contractual advisory, commercial litigation, and disputes in areas such as post-M&A conflicts, corporate disputes, and construction and engineering.

Founded eight years ago, Fils continues to attract top-tier talent to consolidate its position in the Spanish legal market. With Arranz’s arrival, the firm further strengthens its capabilities in handling complex disputes with a multijurisdictional dimension.
