Fieldfisher taps Ignacio Corujo for capital markets
Fieldfisher has appointed Ignacio Corujo as the new partner in charge of its Capital Markets practice in Spain, a newly created specialisation that expands the firm’s range of practice areas. He joins from Dentons. The move, announced in Madrid, adds a discipline the firm describes as “complementary to its established Banking and Finance practice and closely linked to its Corporate M&A, Commercial, Tax and Regulatory areas”.
Corujo brings more than twenty years of experience in equity and debt capital markets, developed at national and international law firms. Over his career he has advised companies and financial institutions on IPOs, capital increases, domestic and international debt issuances, EMTN and ECP programmes, project bonds, convertible bonds and other capital markets financing transactions. He also has experience advising listed companies on corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters.

Broader hiring activity
Corujo’s appointment forms part of a wider expansion Fieldfisher has been carrying out in Spain during 2026. In recent months the firm has added Rafael Durán and Carlos Blanco as partners in Corporate M&A, while promoting Javier Fuentes de la Tienda to partner in Corporate M&A and Antonio Delgado to partner in International Arbitration.
