Fieldfisher Jausas recruits Neinor Homes head of legal

Fieldfisher Jausas has recruited Neinor Homes head of legal Silvia López, who will join the firm as a real estate partner.

López was an in-house lawyer at Neinor Homes for three years. Neinor Homes housing portfolio is valued at around €1 billion.

López’s previous roles have included legal manager at Sareb and legal director (Spain and Portugal) at Virgin Active. She was also formerly a senior associate at DLA Piper.

UK law firm Fieldfisher merged with Spanish firm Jausas earlier this year. As a result of the tie-up, Jausas’ 90 lawyers – including 14 partners – in Madrid and Barcelona were integrated into the London-headquartered firm, which has 24 offices, 1,350 professionals and an annual turnover of €234 million.
