Fieldfisher inaugurates office in Milan

The new office, part of Fieldfisher’s integrated firm, initially comprises five partners, six administrators and 15 lawyers, with a total staff of 26. It is based in the centre of Milan, next to the Duomo, the city’s most recognisable landmark.

The team is led by Alessandro Mulinacci as national managing partner and includes partners Diego Rigatti, Ettore Bonaccorsi, Michele Ghiringhelli and Giuseppe Limido, who previously worked with Fieldfisher.

Client services will initially focus on the team’s core expertise in corporate M&A, energy dispute resolution, intellectual property, transfer pricing and tax.

This development comes after Fieldfisher terminated its agreement with its local partner in Italy. “Italy remains an important market for Fieldfisher and, with this move, will continue to form an integral part of the firm’s European growth strategy,” they shared in a statement.

More recently, as part of its European expansion, Fieldfisher entered Austria, opening an office in Vienna in June 2023. In 2022, it opened its fifth office in Germany, with the launch of Fieldfisher X, a business unit specialising in mass litigation in Berlin. The firm’s international network now spans 12 countries in Europe and around the world.
