Fieldfisher appoints Rodrigo Martos and Talmac Bel as new managing partners
Fieldfisher is immersed in a growth and expansion plan to strengthen all practice areas in Spain. In this sense, as a result of the firm’s own growth and evolution, three new managing partners have been appointed; Héctor Jausàs, Life Science partner of the firm, who will occupy an institutional position as president, Rodrigo Martos, corporate M&A partner, who together with Talmac Bel, labor partner, will occupy the position of managing partner who will have an executive character.
Hector, Rodrigo and Talmac take over from Jordi Ruiz de Villa
Héctor, Rodrigo and Talmac take over from Jordi Ruiz de Villa, who has held the position of managing partner for five years, during which time he has positioned the firm as one of the leading international firms in the market. Ruiz de Villa will remain with the firm as partner of the complex litigation and franchise practice area.
Accompanying the new managing partners, Fernando Pinillo will continue in the position of managing director of the firm, leading the management and direction of the corporate areas: human resources, business development, IT, marketing and communication and finance and administration.
Héctor Jausàs explains that “this new stage is part of the evolution of our firm, focused on promoting the development of talent within the organization and on boosting our own growth as a leading firm in the Spanish market. All this is aligned with the global expansion strategy that the firm is experiencing at European level”.

Fieldfisher in Spain has been growing for several years, in fact, 2023 closed with an increase of 15% in fees billed compared to 2022 and estimating for this year an increase of around 20%. The trend for the coming years is to continue on this growth path. For this reason, in mid-2023 they approved a new strategic plan that proposes a 35% growth for the period 2023/2025.
