Fernando Carinhas, the new head of real estate at PwC Portugal
Fernando Costal Carinhas has joined PwC Portugal as the new head of real estate, transiting from Cuatrecasas. Carinhas brings over 16 years of experience, having begun his professional career in 2008. He has focused his activities on legal advisory in corporate law and real estate law for institutional real estate investors and developers, private clients, and family offices, both national and, predominantly, international, including religious entities.
About Fernando Costal Carinhas
The new PwC lawyer has extensive experience in providing legal advisory services across various models and phases of real estate investment. He has advised and coordinated the negotiation of numerous real estate transactions, including the acquisition and sale of real estate assets, urban rehabilitation projects, turnkey contracts, the construction and commercialization of logistics parks, office buildings, wind and solar farms, office parks, and more. Before joining Cuatrecasas in 2023, Carinhas was part of the real estate law team at PLMJ from 2014 to 2023 and subsequently joined the Real Estate Law team at Cuatrecasas.
