Félix Plaza joins TAS/CAS as arbitrator

Garrigues partner Félix Plaza has been included on the list of arbitrators of the Lausana Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS)

With the incorporation of Félix Plaza (pictured), Garrigues Tax partner and head of the firm´s Sports and Entertainment Law department, the list of 367 CAS arbitrators has now 17 arbitrators from Spain (one of them based in France).

Félix Plaza was selected by Iberian Lawyer in February 2021 as one of the Top lawyers in Sports Law in the Spanish legal market. He now joins other renowned Sports lawyers included on the list of arbitrators such as Kepa Larumbe or José Juan Pintó Sala, both included on the same ranking.

Félix, chair of Centro de Estudios Garrigues Law & Business School, co-directs the Executive Immersion in Sports Management programme and teaches in the Master’s degree in International Taxation, which has a specific section on the International Taxation of artists and sportsmen, in the Master’s degree in Taxation, as well as in the Master’s degree in Sports Law organised by the Real Madrid C.F. and the Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM).
