F&Y advises on the rental of Roche Bobois´ Barcelona new flagship store

Font & Yildiz has advised the owner on the rental process of the new Roche Bobois store in Barcelona, which will be the firm´s flagship store in the Catalan capital

Font & Yildiz, a Barcelona-based law firm highly specialised in Real Estate transactions that attract the interest of foreign capital, have advised the owner of the new premises of Roche Bobois´new flagship store in Barcelona on the rental process. This deal confirms that Spain and Barcelona continue to be of interest for investment in prime commercial premises.

The emblematic commercial property in downtown Barcelona, at the corner of Balmes and Paris streets, which used to be occupied by the Barna Wagen Audi car dealership, was purchased by a Turkish family office, advised by Font & Yildiz.

As a result of this transaction, the law firm has advised the owner of the +600 square metre commercial premises in relation to the rental transaction to the French high-end designer furniture company Roche Bobois, which, despite the economic crisis, in 2020 alone had a turnover of €266 million in its more than 300 stores in 55 countries.
