EY Law announces new strategic hires in Portugal
EY Law Portugal has welcomed Inês Pinto da Costa as its new senior coordinating associate and Lourenço de Sousa Botelho as principal associate. Costa transits from Andersen Portugal, where she was a partner, and Botelho comes from Telles.
Specializing in corporate and M&A, Inês Pinto da Costa holds a law degree from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, with postgraduate studies in Securities Law and International Business Law. Inês previously worked at firms such as PLMJ (where she was also a partner) and Uría Menéndez, leading complex projects in sectors such as renewable energy, infrastructure, and industry.
Lourenço de Sousa Botelho also brings experience in corporate law, transactions, and private equity. He graduated in law from Universidade de Lisboa and holds a postgraduate degree in Law and Management from Universidade Católica. Lourenço built his career at well-regarded firms including Telles, Macedo Vitorino, and Andersen.
